I was trawling the net today and found a link to something i once did inadvertently when i was working with electronics. Perhap's I'll get back into it again.

Circuit Bending

Now I have my new server case the plan is over this long weekend to rebuild the old pc I have and then install server 2000 onto it and finally get my website and new domain name onto my own site.

can't wait, with pictures to follow.

more changes afoot planned in the near future and especially now i'm on holidays from uni. Planning to purchase my own domain name, set up my own blog on a mates server and then migrate away from blogger to my own place. Also I have a few ideas for a small redesign, name redesign and more flash once i receive my amazon book and get my hands dirty teaching myself flash cs3.

Plus it's holidays in a week and Jak's coming up so 'can't wait for that.

i forgot to mention mach 3 has been giving me much trouble of late and finally i decided to heave it down the stairs and into the 2nd hand computer room. I'll add a picture when I get time. It's now slowly being reincarnated as a skeleton machine.

UPDATE 28 May 2007 mach 3 has been given away to a good home.

after wondering for the past 3 weeks why my external webpages where still working after my account should have been cancelled the truth came to light yesterday. I was checking my credit card online and discovered my ISP had taken money from me again. And after the usual 20 min call hold, a woman informed me my account was still active and thus the charge and explains why my pages where still working. Finally after talking to a techie i discovered they did have a record of me cancelling my account but hadn't actually done so and he would now do it and credit back my account. Yes a win i thought, but not long after i noticed my pages where all down and realised this is why.

So the short story is with only 2 days before my trip and a little bit of laziness setting in i couldn't be bothered uploading my external pages to another site for the period of my leave. So, SORRY, FOLKS, ALL MY LINKS ARE NOW DOWN EXCEPT MY 2 PAGES. Once I return and get settled again i should have it all up and going again around March.

and now onto my next gripe......

Sales People: after my ipod died and JB Hi Fi told me it would need to be sent away for 4 - 6 weeks for repairs or replacement I decided to look into upgrading my phone to the new Nokia N91 I'd been looking at for the last year or so. So i go to Vodafone and they have the N91 advertised outside their store and with 3 plans and an outright option. i asked a saleswoman if they have any, she checks and then informs me they don't and are unlikely too. I'm already thinking she is nuts, its a new phone. So i ask what other brands suitable as an mp3 player are available knowing already my requirements, she then talks about a sony phone that comes with 40MB of memory and alot of other useless crap. I can't stop feeling annoyed at her now. Does she have any idea how far 40MB would get for an mp3 phone. I'm guessing not. I mention i'm looking for a minimum of 1GB and further ask her does it come with a 3.5mm Audio Jack or its own custom audio jack. She has to look into this then replys it has its own with good bud type headphones. I'm so annoyed now, i thank her and leave.

this woman just has no idea and is my dumbass nomination of the week.........

do you ever think about how our blogs are all interconnected as much and the same as we are as people. Ots odd, but i go to my blog and get bored so decide to click on a friends linked to mine, then get bored again and click on a friend linked to them, geet more bored until after numerous clicks i get to a blog that is many many clicks from mine and something new to read. what is also odd is i do this everytime and it means i'm clicking more more to find someone who i've never read about and the question is, will i one day find someone who knows me and who knows someone who knows someone who i clicked on from someone else. until that day, i look forward to getting to know everyone who i continue to click on.
