Apr 08: No News is good news today

nothing new happening for now. In a weeks break from uni, working as much as usual. The garden is starting to look a little better now with the many new natives I've planted, started hokcey again and now within 90 days of kokoda trail.

Well January 2008 is nearly over and i thought I'd get some thoughts down on the year and give me some goals and something to measure against at the end.

I checked my emails today and low and behold i had this important email from Africa of all place........



With respect and humility, I decided to send this mail to you, although it is not mandatory nor will I in any manner compel you to honour against your will. Your profile pushed me to send you this proposal to you.

I have in my possessions the deposit document which the company gave to my late father when he deposited the box with the Financial Consultancy Institution. I really don't know what to do. This is because I have suffered a lot of set backs as a result of incessant political crisis here in Ivory coast. The death of my father actually brought sorrow to my life. I am in a sincere desire of your assistance in this regards. Your suggestions and ideas will be highly regarded. Now permit me to ask these Few questions:- 1. Can you honestly and willingly help me as your son? 2. Can I completely trust you? 3. What percentage of the total amount in question will be good for you after the money is in your country? Aug 19: Semi Final Bound

Waratah Hockey Club



I knew 2 weeks ago we where semi final bound in hockey but tonight in the final game of the season before finals we kept 2nd place Uni Tigers at bay and confirmed our status as a serious contender for the title. Even though we go through as the 3rd place team we have been 4th every game this year and 2nd on 2 occasions. Fingers crossed we make it through to the 2nd week then its only 1 game away from the finals.

Now I have my new server case the plan is over this long weekend to rebuild the old pc I have and then install server 2000 onto it and finally get my website and new domain name onto my own site.

Jun 29: Site Changes afoot

more changes afoot planned in the near future and especially now i'm on holidays from uni. Planning to purchase my own domain name, set up my own blog on a mates server and then migrate away from blogger to my own place. Also I have a few ideas for a small redesign, name redesign and more flash once i receive my amazon book and get my hands dirty teaching myself flash cs3.

Plus it's holidays in a week and Jak's coming up so 'can't wait for that.

May 29: Coffee Table Creation

Over the past few months I've been making a coffee table. It's from Jarrah. A native Western Australian timber and very heavy. It's been made in mind to store all my travel souvenirs then the draws and shelves they currently sit upon. I'd give it a 7/10 some things I'm dissapointed in but considering its my first attempt back at woodworking in a while and there have been a few challenging aspects, i'm please with the result.coffee table

May 28: Web Directions South

Off to Sydney in September for a 4 day conference and workshop on web design. This was something last year my lecturer mentioned to me and I hoped I'd be able to go this year. Something finally coming to plan.
I'm going to enjoy this, something I'm passionate about and really love doing when I get the time.
